Mindshot 28: »BI-BLING«
When I was a little boy, this toy was my favorite one. The Nintendo Game Boy opened a whole new world for most of the children’s in my generation. A few pixels and four grey tones created monsters, fantastic places and unique atmospheres. Today, when I switch on the little grey button and see the Nintendo logo smoothly floating down to the middle of the display and stopping with that typical sound, I feel like 12 years old again.
Mindshot 27: Home Is Where My Music Is
In 2011 I traveled to the other side of the world and visited Australia and various countries in Asia (you can find more about the trip here). When you are on your own for several months, you feel homesick from time to time. What really helped was my MP3-Player with all my favorite music. When I listened to the songs I immediately felt better and closer to my family, friends and home…

Mindshot 25: Just Killing Some Time
These new free-to-play games on my iPhone are like time machines: Once I start playing, an hour seems like a minute.
Mindshot 24: A Penny For Your Thoughts
Mindshot 23: Untitled
I think I watched too much TV last weekend and didn’t do anything useful. On the other side, this waste of time usually gives me a push for the upcoming week. So in the end, it may not be so meaningless…
Mindshot 22: Drawing – Sometimes A Drug, Sometimes A Medicine
When I start to create a new piece and get into a flow with my drawing, I hardly can stop. The time goes by very fast and it feels like an obsession to finish it. At the same time it has a meditating effect. I become calm and forget everything around me. Weather obsession or meditation: After drawing, I always feel better. I think everyone who likes to draw, feels much the same.
Mindshot 21: High Impact News
Ukraine, Syria, Isil, German arms exports, Mali, Paris… The news are full of explosive, disturbing and worrying information these days.
Mindshot 20: Wall Street Brokers Calculator
I had this picture in my mind when I saw the documentary “Inside Job”. It takes a closer look at what brought about the financial meltdown. In the end it was just greed. A great film you might want to check out and get an authentic insight into the system of the wall street.
Mindshot 19: Untitled
The daily shocking news about conflicts and wars all around the world based on differences in religion, opinions, skin color, sex, family background, social or economic status, language and birth of nationality made me do this.
Mindshot 18: The Whatsapp Curse
I think Whatsapp is a great invention to connect and share. I use it every day. Check marks tell you, if your message has been sent and read by the receiver. However, sometimes these marks put some pressure and force you to answer asap, because you know the other person is waiting for you to write back.
Mindshot 17: »Oops!«
In our digital age of social networks, Playstation 4 and various TV and talent shows, I often get lost while using these media. Time goes by so fast and when I finally switch off it feels like reality slipped through my fingers in the last couple of hours.
Mindshot 16: Please Wait…
I am living in a beautiful area in Bielefeld, a small town in North-West Germany. Here you can find a lot of nature, green landscapes, quietness and harmony. But the internet speed just sucks!
Mindshot 15: Always Online
Do you also have your smartphone or iPad within reach when you go to sleep? I do and I think it’s really a bad habit I should get rid of. Even though all devices are switched to silent, I still catch myself grabbing my phone and checking out what’s happening out there. And suddenly it’s 1am…
