Mindshot 28: »BI-BLING«

When I was a little boy, this toy was my favorite one. The Nintendo Game Boy opened a whole new world for most of the children’s in my generation. A few pixels and four grey tones created monsters, fantastic places and unique atmospheres. Today, when I switch on the little grey button and see the Nintendo logo smoothly floating down to the middle of the display and stopping with that typical sound, I feel like 12 years old again.

Mindshot 27: Home Is Where My Music Is

In 2011 I traveled to the other side of the world and visited Australia and various countries in Asia (you can find more about the trip here). When you are on your own for several months, you feel homesick from time to time. What really helped was my MP3-Player with all my favorite music. When I listened to the songs I immediately felt better and closer to my family, friends and home…

Mindshot 22: Drawing – Sometimes A Drug, Sometimes A Medicine

When I start to create a new piece and get into a flow with my drawing, I hardly can stop. The time goes by very fast and it feels like an obsession to finish it. At the same time it has a meditating effect. I become calm and forget everything around me. Weather obsession or meditation: After drawing, I always feel better. I think everyone who likes to draw, feels much the same.
