Portrait: Muhammad Ali

So far, this is the only portrait where I used two different drawing colors in addition to black.

I like this red and blue color combination a lot and I think I will use it more often in the future. You can see the final sport series on Behance.

Sport Illustration: Skateboarding – Step 1 (WIP)

One of my first sport illustrations. I struggled a lot working on this one. I created at least to versions before I was quite satisfied with this one.

Sport Illustrations: Zlatan – Step 2 (WIP)

After the rough drawing I add watercolors and ink to it. This is the most complex and time consuming part and makes a lot of fun to do.

Thanks to soccerbible, I would like to share with you the work-in-progress for my Zlatan Ibrahimovic artwork. This is the initial sketch. I like this part a lot, because you get a feeling for the figure and the fall of the folds.

Sport Illustrations: Baseball – Step 1 (WIP)

The initial sketch of the first illustration of a series of sports. I usually start with a rough drawing. Even if I erase most of the drawing at the end, I like to complete it at the beginning to get a feeling for the move and dynamics.

You can see the final series on here.

This fluid style works quite well to create dynamism.
