The Enthusiasm Crash — When Excitement Turns Into Resistance

We all know that moment.

An idea excites us.
We think about it, research it, imagine what it could become.

But we don’t start.

At some point, the excitement fades.
And what’s left is pressure, resistance — even guilt.

The idea that once inspired us now starts to haunt us.

In my work, this moment is not the problem.
It’s part of the process.

The way through is simple: take the smallest possible step.

A scribble.
A note.
One small action.

Because the moment you start, you’re already in it.
