Illustration For The German Government (7/15) ARTICLE 1: Human Dignity – Human Rights

For the 70th anniversary of the German Basic Law, I had the pleasure to be part of the redesigned book and created various illustrations. See the whole project here.

 

Article 1: Human Dignity – Human Rights

(1) Human dignity shall be inviolable. To respect and protect it shall be the duty of all state authority.
(2) The German people therefore acknowledge inviolable and inalienable human rights as the basis of every community, of peace and of justice in the world.
(3) The following basic rights shall bind the legislature, the executive and the judiciary as directly applicable law.

Article 8: Freedom of assembly

(1) All Germans shall have the right to assemble peacefully and unarmed without prior notification or permission.
(2) In the case of outdoor assemblies, this right may be restricted by or pursuant to a law.

Red Dot Award For »50 Mindshots«

This week I received the amazing news that my book »50 Mindshots« earned recognition from the panel of experts and received the prestigious Red Dot in »Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2019« – The distinction »Red Dot« has become established internationally as one of the most sought-after seals of quality for good design« (www.red-dot.org). After the bronze nail by the »Art Directors Club 2019« and the Merit award by »3×3« I feel very honored that this project, which started as a purely personal passion receives so much recognition by experts all over the world. Thanks so much to the jury. I am looking forward to the ceremony in November in Berlin.
