I’m sure you know this feeling when you are working on a project or searching for THE ONE idea. After hours of researching, combining and trying, you suddenly feel that you got it! After a few thoughts you often realize that it wasn’t the one and you have to try harder. But this special moment when I think I got it, always makes me fly.

I just published a new project on Behance. It’s a selection of selection of various illustrations I created in 2015. Some are commissioned, some are personal works. Since my childhood, I have enjoyed working with pencils, watercolours and ink. Now, I combine the elements digitally to create the illustrations. Mainly the subjects are portraits as well as product and sport related. Thank you for taking a look and wish you a happy 2016!

A few days ago I had a conversation with a friend about the horrible situation in Syria and Iraq and how it all began. We had an intense discussion about the role of social media in starting a revolution. I had this picture in my mind while we were talking.

Another speed portrait. This time it’s Zlatan. This took about one hour and was drawn as fast as possible.

I remember that I worked almost two days on this one. I desperately tried to use various blue tones on that, until I noticed that one dark blue looks right enough.

Trying a new portrait technique by drawing lines as fast as possible. This one took about two hours.

I published a new project on Behance. It’s series of illustrated fragrance bottles (i.e. Chanel, Bulgari, Versace and more).
