Now I add watercolors and work on some details. The most fun part is to set the highlights to enhance the 3d effect.
Watch Illustration: Omega – Step 1 (WIP)

I actually don’t know why, but I really enjoy drawing luxury watches. This »Omega« watch is the first one. At first, I draw the outlines and all necessary elements before I start to use watercolors.
Portraits 5 (German Musicians) On Behance

I published a new project on Behance. It’s a portrait series of German Musicians (Gentleman, Sido, Kool Savas and Xavier Naidoo). I will share the illustrations and the work-in-progress here on my blog soon.
Mindshot 03: Happy Hour
Sport Illustrations: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Sport Illustrations: Zlatan – Step 2 (WIP)

After the rough drawing I add watercolors and ink to it. This is the most complex and time consuming part and makes a lot of fun to do.

Thanks to soccerbible, I would like to share with you the work-in-progress for my Zlatan Ibrahimovic artwork. This is the initial sketch. I like this part a lot, because you get a feeling for the figure and the fall of the folds.

Sport Illustrations: Baseball
Sport Illustrations: Baseball – Step 2 (WIP)
Sport Illustrations: Baseball – Step 1 (WIP)

The initial sketch of the first illustration of a series of sports. I usually start with a rough drawing. Even if I erase most of the drawing at the end, I like to complete it at the beginning to get a feeling for the move and dynamics.
You can see the final series on here.
Portrait: Johnny Depp

I remember that I struggled a lot with this one. Especially to catch the light smile. When I thought it was finished, I had doubts the next day. So I worked the whole day to improve it. That’s the result.
Mindshot 02: Lemmings 2015

You can see a lot of so-called smartphone junkies on the streets who are listening to music, writing messages and checking out new Facebook posts. Unfortunately I’m one of them and sometimes I find it hard to pay attention to my surroundings and check emails at the same time.
